Grande Prairie RCMP Investigate Suspicious Activity

RCMP Alberta – On Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at approximately 4:00 PM, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a young child who was approached by an unknown male in a vehicle. She was on her way home from Roy Bickell School in the area of 105 Street when the male pulled up next to her and offered her a ride home. The child yelled for help and rode her bike to safety.

The vehicle is described as:
  • Four door car
  • Tinted back windows
  • Black paint with rust

The suspect is described as:
  • Male
  • Filipino or Asian
  • Clean shaven
  • Dark blue shirt

RCMP conducted extensive patrols in the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or the suspect.





RCMP are actively investigating this incident and are asking any possible witnesses to come forward and contact the Grande Prairie RCMP to provide a statement.
