Airdrie RCMP Looking for Witnesses to an Assault Involving a Thrown Bottle

RCMP Alberta - The Airdrie RCMP are appealing to the public in search of anyone whom might have witnessed an assault involving a bottle being thrown at the Nose Creek Regional Park along Main Street in Airdrie.

On Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at approximately 11:00 am, a City of Airdrie employee was mowing the grass at Nose Creek Regional Park right along Main Street when he was suddenly struck in the side of the face with a glass bottle. The victim was unable to see whom threw the bottle. It is believed to have been thrown from a vehicle that was travelling southbound along Main Street. The victim, whom was wearing a hard hat, safety eyeglasses, and ear protection at the time, sustained cuts and bruising to their face and required medical attention.
