RCMP Alberta -
On June 22nd at 0430 in the morning Cochrane RCMP initiated a traffic stop on a blue Ford F150 as it entered the River Song subdivision in Cochrane. As a result of the subsequent investigation police have arrested all 4 occupants of the truck for various property crime offences. The individuals arrested all from Calgary range in ages from 31 to 43 years old. RCMP believe that the individuals drove to Cochrane for the sole purpose of committing property offences predominantly theft from vehicles. Property crime charges are pending against all for individuals and the investigation continues to determine the totality of the offences that they were committing.

"Despite continued successes in making several key arrests, property crimes continue to be an issue in Cochrane, " says Cpl. Troy Savinkoff of the Cochrane RCMP. "As always we ask that the public continue to do their part in reporting suspicious vehicles and locking up their property in order to discourage criminals like these from driving here from other communities to commit their crimes."

If you have information about these incidents, please call the Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000 or call your local police. If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), by internet at www.tipsubmit.com,
