St. Paul RCMP recover stolen vehicles

RCMP Alberta –
On May 19th, 2018, St. Paul RCMP started an investigation regarding trafficking of stolen property. As a result, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Saddle Lake. Four stolen vehicles, along with vehicle parts were recovered. The vehicles were previously reported stolen from Camrose, Bruderheim, Bonnyville and Lloydminster from July 2017 to May 2018.

Police also seized a prohibited firearm, cocaine, cannabis, and other weapons and items. Two adult males from Saddle Lake have been charged with trafficking stolen property, as well as possession of property obtained by crime.

Rayburn Jackson (44) and Ricky Jackson (19) are scheduled to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on June 21, 2018.

“The St. Paul RCMP recognized the need to apprehend these individuals that are alleged to be responsible for multiple property and drug offences,” says Staff Sergeant Corey Blize, Detachment Commander of the St. Paul RCMP. “We will continue to gather intelligence on criminals involved in these types of offences as part of a larger crime reduction strategy.”

The investigation continues.
