Theft of copper wire form Provost area oil site

RCMP Alberta - On June 27th Provost RCMP received a call of a copper wire theft near Highway 899 and Township Road 402, north of Provost, Alberta. It is alleged that between the evening of June 26th and the morning of June 27th 2018, unknown suspect(s) arrived at the location where approximately 20 feet of copper wire was stolen from the site. The cost to repair the damage to the site and replace the copper wire is estimated to be between $30,000 and $40,000.


Investigators are asking anyone who may have information regarding this occurrence to contact Provost RCMP at 780-753-2214.
