Oilfield agency security also assisted with the containment. Upon arrival of the Police Dog Service they began tracking the suspect through deep brush crossing over an area of the North Saskatchewan River through thigh high water, up steep inclines and then back through the water again for a distance of approximately 3 and a half kilometres. The suspect, 27 year old James Roblin was subsequently arrested for outstanding warrants from Banff and Drayton Valley. Additional Charges include Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Break and Enter, Hit and Run to escape, Breach of Recognizance x 3, Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
