Grande Prairie RCMP Investigate Shooting Incident

RCMP Alberta – On Tuesday August 14 approximately 5:49 a.m. Grande Prairie RCMP were dispatched to a campground at Evergreen Park for a possible shooting.  Upon arrival police located a male inside a trailer with a single gunshot wound. The 62-year-old male was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.  Police believe this was not a random act and there is no additional risk to public safety.

A dark coloured truck was noted in the area at the time of the incident and police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of the vehicle.
