Strathcona County RCMP investigate significant damage to Safeway entrance

RCMP Alberta – This morning at approximately 5:10 a.m. Strathcona County RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle purposefully driving into the Safeway entrance located on Sherwood Drive. The suspect vehicle was last seen driving east on Granada Boulevard.

Police located the unoccupied suspect vehicle parked on Hummingbird Road in Sherwood Park and determined the vehicle was stolen from the previous night in Sherwood Park. Suspects have not been located.

There is significant damage to the entrance of the Safeway as a result of the incident.

Strathcona County RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.
