Barrhead RCMP charge former school employee with fraud

RCMP Alberta – On Sept. 9, 2017 Barrhead RCMP received a complaint regarding a former Pembina Hills School Board employee.  It is alleged the employee submitted fraudulent claims to the school board between November 2014 and January 2017 in excess of $18,000.

Colleen Symyrozum-Watt (55) of Busby, Alberta was arrested on June 25, 2018 and charged with fraud over $5000 (X2), fraud under $5000 (X2) and criminal breach of trust. She was released and is scheduled to appear in Barrhead Provincial Court on September 11, 2018.

As this matter is now before the courts, no further information will be released.
