Celebrating Ukrainian-Canadian Heritage Day

Government of Alberta - September 7 marks the second annual Ukrainian-Canadian Heritage Day in Alberta. Premier Rachel Notley will attend a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new Consulate of Ukraine to Edmonton.

Two flag-raising ceremonies will also take place in Edmonton and Calgary. Deron Bilous, Minister of Economic Development and Trade, will participate in the Edmonton event while MLA Graham Sucha will take part in the Calgary event, on behalf of Culture and Tourism Minister Ricardo Miranda.
