Wood Buffalo RCMP request assistance in identifying robbery suspects


RCMP Alberta -  On July 6th, 2018 at approximately 3:45 am, two males suspects approached a business near Main Street and MacDonald Avenue in the downtown area of Fort McMurray. They were allegedly directed into a building, assaulted another male, leaving him unconscious, and left with the victim’s money. The victim sustained physical injuries and is recovering. The identity of the two male suspects remains unknown. Police are reaching out to the public to help identify the individuals involved. Police do not believe this was a random incident.

Male Suspect 1 is described as:

· Caucasian

· Round clean shaven face

· Stocky build

· Very short/shaved hair or bald

Suspect 1 was wearing:

· Blue jeans,

· Navy Under Armour t shirt,

· Light blue ball cap,

· White sneakers with black laces, and

· Silver chain and watch

Male Suspect 2 is described as:

· Caucasian

· beard/goatee

· thin build

Suspect 2 was wearing:

· Blue hoodie with hood up,

· White ball cap with dark brim,

· Black pants, and

· Black shoes.
